the tide rises, the tide falls | an oceanic literary magazine
Metallurgy
by
Jay Fraser
The shattered sky bleeds light
Like a wound in eternity; its
Halo imbued on the self-torn
Surface of the steely, roiling waters.
Warmth on the grey, ushering
The tides to surge, urging their fall.
Light thrown, tossed and rolled:
Photon ships and sailored rays
Buoyed on the endless motion.
